AGAINST HISTORIC AMNESIA

ARCH is dedicated to presenting, for the public good, evidence of vitally important historic and cultural matter that is disappearing from our world today. 

Our goal is to communicate not only who and what are disappearing, but also why.  And we intend to become a hub, linking with others dedicated to the same concerns.

The same technologies that allow us to interact around the globe, directly and personally without official barriers, also give vested interests instantaneous and comprehensive access to all of us.

ARCH’s signature exhibit “Against Historic Amnesia” features an eclectic mix of individuals from across the globe and time, whose works and reputations are purged from our public memory – or linger on peripherally, as savaged caricatures.

Without the examples of who they really were and what they really did, we ourselves are diminished.  We end up seeing ourselves as helpless individuals inside overwhelming systems.
